Related: About this forumThe Sandra Bland Dashcam Video Is Beyond Edited, It's Totally Bogus
Here is the full video that was downloaded before they TOOK DOWN the original video:
Numerous times in the video the same cars keep passing, the tow truck driver gets out of the truck three times at 23:50~ and... what happens to the tow truck driver? He just walks off camera and hangs out for half an hour? Huh uh.
And none of the audio matches!
Voices on the audio are speaking directly into the microphone, no differentiation for the distance between between the participants... And, we hear dispatch audio from inside the cruiser during the alleged 'confrontation'
This entire thing is bogus. Cover your ass Texas Department of Public Safety, that cop beat Sandra Bland into a coma right there on the sidewalk after she was handcuffed.
I have produced two documentary films, edited thousands of videos, and this is one of the biggest steaming piles of shit I've ever come across.

(3,967 posts)if the original is destroyed, that would be a problem. if it has been altered from the original, that would be a problem. in either case, dog-ate-the-homework excuses won't fly. if the original is like this, that would require a thorough explanation of how the camera system is defective - hard to see what could cause that. with doj, i expect the truth will come out in not too long.

This was a DWB gone very wrong.
Bad splices toward the end don't help their case.

(57,936 posts)You hear Sandra Bland speaking while insider her car, but the entire time that the officers are searching her car, there is just white noise. That is so strange.
The video is not at all trustworthy. So why is it doctored like that? Did someone really think they could get by with that?
And the discussion of the officer at the end about whether it was assault or resisting arrest? Sounds like someone trying to make up a story about how she attacked him when it does sound very clearly like he attacked her. And what is missing from that tape?

(1,555 posts)How in the world could they ever imagine this editing would not be noticed? The tow truck driver getting out multiple times, and then there is absolutely no audio for the last 4 minutes or so.
What happened to Ms. Bland? You do not hear her voice for the final 35 minutes or so. Something extremely fishy here.

(1,288 posts)Problems with youtube uploads don't cause blatant edits of this kind. Also, the audio would be messed up along with the video, if that was the case. I've never had anything like this happen with video uploads, or heard of anyone else having anything like this happen. Total BS coverup criminality.

(24,010 posts)I didn't have time to view the whole thing when I first opened this OP, came back later to finish watching it, and it's gone.
laserhaas has also removed the vid, on this thread:

(24,010 posts)What are we dealing with here? And why should we trust any new vid posted by TX police state?
WHICH vid is the reliable one (if this is known)?
Apart from any potential criminal editing, the encounter I saw at zebonaut's OP is completely, totally inexcusable behavior by the cop--well before she's murdered in prison (more than likely). He escalates at every point. It is a type case of cop escalation! If she was active in Black Lives Matter--and I saw somewhere that she was--I'm beginning to think she was targeted, that this was no random traffic stop--the purpose being to get her in jail by whatever means, in order to murder her. That may be WHY he stops her on a pretext, then deliberately escalates to turn it into "resisting arrest." I know this kind of vicious traffic stop happens to blacks routinely, but are we witnessing something more here--something even worse?
I'm also wondering if the "ghost car" was a surveillance car--cops covertly following her, then alerting the arresting cop to pick her up on a pretext.
We need to find out more about Sandra Bland, to determine if they were targeting her, not just targeting her for being black, but also for being an activist. And, of course, was this a conspiracy--not just a bad cop escalating a traffic stop against a black driver, and not just another murder of a black prisoner, and not just a general cop conspiracy to target, abuse and murder blacks, but a specific conspiracy to kill THIS black woman.
That is what I am suspecting, if it's true that she was someone they knew as a BLM activist. This cop's behavior, in making this traffic stop at all, and everything that he then does, leads me to this suspicion.
By the way, do you hear him say, to someone off camera, "You need to leave!"? Ms. Bland and the cop are both off camera (another thing I wondered about--why he pushed her off camera), and I think it was just before the other cops arrived, or just as they were arriving. I thought I heard him say to someone, "You need to leave!" (as a threatening command). Could there have been a witness to his treatment of her off camera?
think
(11,641 posts)It's from the same source which is the TDPS (Texas Department of Public safety.)
After the media questioned them about the glitches this morning they said they were going to pull the full length video which VoteSparks posted above and provide another video.
The person off camera you mention at the end your post was probably a bystander who was filming the arrest. This is the video taken by the bystander. You can hear the officer say "you need to leave" about 27 seconds in:
think
(11,641 posts)You can see the ghost car incidents in the 25 minute to 27 minute time frame and again in the 33 minute to 35 minute time frame.
It is not during the arrest and could be a glitch but it seems very fishy as the video glitched but the audio that goes along with it does not.
I am not a video expert so I can't speak much to if this is a possible glitch or not. It's certainly a type of glitch I can't recall ever seeing before though in regards to watching Youtube videos.

(24,010 posts)...with some kind of police legal dispatcher. The audio seems smooth (uninterrupted), but that doesn't mean that it is smooth, with those rough edits occurring on the visual track.
He is clearly lying to the dispatcher. We just saw him quite deliberately escalate a minor traffic stop into an incident. She gives him her papers. He asks how long she's been in Texas, and where she's heading--neither thing being any of his business. He goes to his car and makes her wait a very long time. She lights a cigarette (in the car) and when he eventually returns--having found no reason in police databases to arrest her--he MANUFACTURES a reason. He asks her to put out her cigarette; she says something like "I can't smoke in my own car?", and this is his pretext: He proceeds to shout at her, "Get out of the car!", tries to bodily pull her out of the car, and even pulls a gun or a taser and points it at her, while she very reasonably and calmly asks, "What for?" There was no reason for his behavior. It is totally off the wall.
And how she's dead.

(1,288 posts)I have added another video that was captured.
Uncle Joe
(58,417 posts)that he's just giving them a warning ticket, he never tells Sandra Bland that he's just giving her a warning ticket until after the situation has escalated and he's determined to make an arrest.
He never asked Bland to put out her cigarette until after she told him that she was irritated, he knew she was already upset and ordering her to put out a cigarette was rubbing salt into a wound.
He could've have calmed the situation by telling her it was only a warning after she expressed feeling irritated but he was determined to make the situation worse, that's how I see it.
Thanks for the thread, votesparks.
