An illegitimate news network is deciding which Republican candidates get to debate in a Presidential race????

Not the actual Republican Party ? ( ok, they are one and the same, I know..but still)

who is gonna decided the Democratic debates?

Sob...I miss The League of Women Voters so much.....

The RNC has said that only certain debates are sanctioned (the Fox News debate is one of them) and if a candidate goes to any other debates they are cut out of official RNC debates. BTW the DNC is doing basically the same thing but I don't think any network gets to make decisions on who will be there.

The Fox News primary settles once and for all the collusion between them and the RNC/GOP ... AND who is really running the show.

Take the word "Fox" out of the equation. Any other network is going to do the same thing. You just cant have 20 people and still call it a "debate"

What if, say, Fiorina Jindal and Pataki want to get airtime and one of the fringe networks (WND or The Blaze) agree to put it on the air. If that happened the candidates would get frozen out of any other RNC debates.

These photos reminded me of a favorite episode of the Mary Tyler Moore Show, entitled "Chuckles Bites The Dust"

I'm just hoping that the laughter will be six times what we enjoyed with that very well-written and performed early-70's sit-com.

Here's an excerpt:

If you have the time, and need a bit more comedy in your life, I encourage you to watch the full episode, available on YouTube.

to the FN stage, I encourage the others to do a separate event. Laurence has invited them to come and others have mentioned a willingness to have a separate event. Fight back! I will not vote for any of them, but i want them to demand fairness. I kind of think no one should be on the stage who has not declared. But that is a picky point. And no one asked me!!

their voters can tell which is which. Aside from very few foreign policy differences, it's genuinely tough to tell each clown apart in my book. They all hate Obama/Hillary/Dems/liberals. They all want a backwards top-down economic agenda. They all want more RWers on the Supreme Court. They oppose expanded health care. And they show little concern (rhetoric and especially policy-wise) for the issues of minorities, the poor, women, and LGBT.

And trust me, watching that movie was not very entertaining, but I would still find it less painful than watching a group of 10 men and women trying to see who can be the most racist, most homophobic and most god-fearing candidate without actually coming right out and saying they are racist, homophobic god-fearing candidates.

I would LOVE to see all five up there answering questions from most likely Chris Wallace. My main reason is because i KNOW Bernie Sanders would have no problem speaking his mind and telling people what he REALLY believes. And then letting people see the contrast between him and Hillary would be hilarious. She would squirm the entire evening.
