(13,106 posts)The vision he has for this country is one he and I have
shared for decades.
He is honest, I respect him, he has integrity.
I can not imagine anyone who is not part of the upper
crust not voting for this man.
He is the real deal.
He is what this country needs to set us on the correct path.
A government that represents the needs of the people, not
the corporations, Wall Street, or the Military Industrial Complex.

(32,723 posts)I couldn't BELIEVE it when I saw the enthusiasm of Liberals towards Obama. Of all of the candidates he had the longest timeline to pull out of Iraq. Kucinich said he was going to pull out at once. He also was going to cancel NAFTA on day one.
You wouldn't have heard of TPP,.....but then,....he wasn't "electable".

(531 posts)Back in the day, I tried to warn everyone about Obama just being another corporate yes-man, but...
This morning I read your post, and started thinking how Dennis would make a great VP for Bernie... that's if Elizabeth Warren doesn't want the job. Either one of them on the ticket would make me very happy.
Wish I could have been at Bernie's Denver rally yesterday, but I tip my cowboy hat to one of Colorado's wonderful grassroots Democrat Vic Meyers (follow him at @Vic4CO4) for his string of enthusiastic tweets from the event!

How does giving a speech = being liberal and Democratic?

(32,723 posts)You also look at other things, like Obama's mentor when he came to the Senate was Joe Lieberman.

(20,453 posts)He is consistently speaking truth.
The reaction to every station where he delivers this message is the message and reaction of each crowd. The REALITY message far too many of us have forgotten
NONE of these values and goals JOBS, LABOR CONDITIONS, PATHWAY TO HIGHER EDUCATION, HEALTH CARE and SUSTAINABLE ENERGY SYSTEM are utopian. NONE of them are out of our reach. They are what makes us a sustainable and civil society!
Go Bernie
and may your message be carried SUSTAINABLY!

(32,723 posts)To them "sustainability" is stagnation.
They consider getting the same thing this year as last year to be a "loss".
Never mind that their WORKERS don't get a raise, Wall Street feels it's ENTITLED to one regardless of how the rest of America is doing.

(20,453 posts)Greenspan, in his hubris, didn't blink an eye about Wall Street's "growth", then the stupid motherfucker takes it back in as if he was shocked that the Greenspan economic global competitive forces of the market he got from inside the bubble didn't pan out! How insincere could Wall Street be, based on that shit statement? And, they've of course, forgotten it was ever a mistake? HA!
