And it helps that the graduation class is so small. I wish my kids had that.

I was in the last class of my H.S. Our school board was trying to find a way to desegregate (noble idea in theory), but their plan was bonkers. They got a giant hopper full of different colored ping pong balls with each color representing a different school. They would call out a student's name and draw a ball out of the hopper, that was your school. You had neighbors kids going to the school around the corner and your kid going across town, even kids in the same family! The bus schedules were going to be insane. At our graduation after we flipped our tassels and walked the stage, we (all 500 plus) threw thousands of ping pong balls at the school board with all three TV stations there! It was so awesome! The video of graduation edited that part out (bummer)!
