Jeb Bush Desperate To Save Family Name

On Sunday, while Republicans in Congress were trying desperately to prevent sections of the Patriot Act from expiring, not-yet-official Presidential candidate Jeb Bush appeared on Face The Nation with host Bob Scheiffer to tell us why America desperately needs the Patriot Act.

It is just another example of Jeb trying desperately to rewrite the history of his brother’s disastrous presidency. And the American people may not be buying it.

1. Yep, that's his reason for running

His daddy and brother were colossal fuckups and he thinks he can manage to erase their mistakes. He can't, of course, and will likely compound them because he comes onto the political stage with the same funny equations in his head plus a staggeringly wretched record as governor, although that's now been eclipsed by the even worse pRick Scott.

If he were smart, he'd retire to Texas to count his millions for the rest of his life.

3. I can only think of one good thing that could come from a third Bush as President.

That would be a Constitutional amendment mandating a DNA test to prove you were not, nor were remotely related to, a Bush before being eligible to run for President.
