Crosses, crucifixes, yarmulkes, ceremonial daggers, burqas, phylacteries. pasta strainers, turbins

most of those things ARE already allowed in public schools, including a turban (NOTE: correct spelling). Probably not the ceremonial dagger for security reasons, and maybe the pasta strainer for 'comic' effect. I think the burqa or hijab, because they basically represent a type of cloister that prohibits public exposure, are different.
