1. Why Is Obama So Eager to Blow His Political Capital and Legacy Over the TPP?

And insult the intelligence of the American voter by name calling against those legislators who oppose the TPP without giving us full disclosure of what's actually in the deal? I don't think that there has been anything substantive at all coming out of Obama's mouth on this trade deal. Maybe he has cynically calculated that there are enough "Obama-bots" out there who will unquestioningly follow him to swing the tide in the TPP's favor and cinch the deal. Heck, Wall Street must have one heck of a golden parachute waiting for him at the end of his second term...
