I dosen't look like Jeb Bush, is to happy about running for president at all - when you look at how he have managed his campaign so far.... Or he might belive he could relay of his fathers friends in high places, even they would be old by now - to squeese him true even the worst campain ever?

Or is it, that he is just in for the money he can get - as I suspect from what I know, it is not like he would be obligated to give it back when the campaign is over... Even for a rich man like Jeb, money is money...

Or it is more than posible - something Im missing here...

As Rachel points out in the clip, the Iowa Straw Poll is nothing but a scam. It has no real connection to the nomination race. Instead, it's a fundraiser, the essence of which is that the Iowa Republican Party extorts money from presidential campaigns. A candidate acting on principle would refuse to participate.

Now, I doubt that Jeb is acting on principle. It's far more likely that he simply figures he has no chance of winning, or even making a respectable showing. Making no effort and coming in eighth will be bad, but campaigning there and coming in sixth would be even worse.

He'd probably be better off just ducking the Iowa caucuses altogether. Those Republicans aren't his kind of Republicans. If I were him, I'd spend the time in New Hampshire, South Carolina and Florida, the next big three on the GOP primary schedule.
