Philosopher Slavoj Žižek argues that unless we think about a radical new beginning, the likes of Berlusconi are the political future

I still don't understand Lacanian psychology, but Žižek's analogies are almost always memorable, jarringly so.

I believe it was Žižek who compared voting to pressing the "Door Close" button on an elevator.
