I'd tell him that guiding one's life by a 1700-year old science fiction novel is stupid - at best. Of course, the fact that he's ranting publicly and tearing pages from another science fiction novel pretty much guarantees that my advice wouldn't even be heard.

Jerks, who would chase me down the street in Los Angeles, telling me to convert or else. They don't have jobs? Nothing better to do? Harassing women coming from (in my case) a Buddhist temple, and calling us vile names...this is a good thing? It was harassment, and its sad there is more of it still today years later.
