No, you are not the only one. In fact, you probably should have also heard cheers of joy in that the usual suspects realized they could at least try to make a big deal about the fact that he ran. The could claim that if he had not run he likely would not have been shot.

It has been reported that he owed more than $18,000 in child support and an arrest warrant had been issued for him. Also, his father, in a Today Show appearance, said he likely ran because he did not want to go back to jail.

It's telling that the cop's response is to pump 8 bullets into a fleeing black man.

So three of the bullets whizzed off somewhere into the surrounding area. The cop was, what, 20-30 feet from the victim when he fired? So in addition to killing one man, he jeopardize the community with three errant bullets.

when in fact he simply had some minor child support issues and didn't want any hassles with the cops. Guilty of a broken taillight. Sentence. Death.
