1. probably couldn't hurt to address the jail-for-missed-child-support thing

...which is almost always done in cases where the man just doesn't have the money to give, and of course putting him in jail isn't going to make those payments paid any faster.

I'm sure someone will come along to argue that "deadbeat dads" deserve prison, but what they won't have is an explanation of how that actually helps anyone, least of all the kids.

What it does do is give cops another reason to abuse the poor, and its another law to which the wealthy are effectively immune.
