The "government" that Dad Cruz fought to overcome was a notoriously corrupt and harsh dictatorship. The Castro progressive revolution began well and then devolved into it's own dictatorship, though the common person did better under him than under Batista because Castro nationalized the resources and redistributed the wealth. For instance there's 98% literacy in Cuba and universal health care.

12. Making fun of someone's accent is vulgar and racist

Sam Seder and his crew apparently think it is hilarious to make fun of someone's accent. They need to be called out on this.

I find the ideas of Ted Cruz and his father completely repugnant. But Seder's racist display is also repugnant. I couldn't watch even half of the video and whatever point Seder was trying to make was completely drowned by his grotesque mimicry.

Where is Ted Cruz' mother, Eleanor living, and Cruz' 4 half-sisters, from his parents first marriages? Unable to find verified info. about these family members. Cruz' father came from Cuba to Texas on a student visa in 1957, yet didn't apply for US citizenship until 2005, strange.
