TYT: Climate Change Survey : Fox News Trusted More Than Obama

John Iadarola (https://twitter.com/jiadarola) and Jimmy Dore (https://twitter.com/jimmy_dore) filling in for Cenk Uygur (http://www.twitter.com/cenkuygur) host of The Young Turks discuss a recent poll results that show more Americans trust Fox News than Barack Obama about climate change.

"St. Leo University recently released a survey that showed Americans were more likely on average to trust Fox News about climate change than President Barack Obama. While at first this may seem like a startling trend, in all actuality both Obama and Fox News were pretty low on the list of options, with most who were surveyed chose to trust non-government scientists and other sources for factual information on the growing Climate Change problem. Other cable news shows and mainstream media sources were listed as trusted by twice as many people as Fox News. The only concerning trend would be that Republicans polled generally saw Climate Change as over exaggerated, mostly out of fear that they may change the world for the better without any real reason to do so."

Some folks do not know HOW to "trust, but verify". The 'verify' part is tough. So these folks just blindly trust, or not. I trust Fred Sanders Apr 2015 #1
It depends on how the question was asked and what the possible answers were jimlup Apr 2015 #2

Obama, because I have verified him.

Trust Obama or trust Fox? What does the verification process for this "trust" thing reveal?

How so many Americans ended up with 'Fox' is just sad and pathetic.

If the survey was multiple choice then it wouldn't be very interesting. If it was a list of trust/no trust then it would be more interesting. The announcers never addressed this question.

... semi-literate trailer trash consumed with malice and an inchoate resentment toward anyone who has something they don't, even down to a talent or skill they cannot hope to master. But most especially toward those with more and better STUFF than they have. They are desperate for some drama in their dreary double-wide lives, so they take delight in vicious attacks on anything they haven't the intellectual capacity to understand, the same way a monkey delights in throwing shit at a wall.

No rational argument nor irrefutable proof that contradicts their views about a given issue will ever sway them, because they'd gut their grannies from groin to gizzard before they'd EVER admit they were wrong about anything.

Then there are the sociopaths who exploit those polliwogs in the shallow end of the gene pool.

And finally, the malevolent psychopaths who cleared the pathway for Pox News to even exist in the first place by abolishing the Fairness Doctrine, and who are so wealthy that they have absolutely nothing to gain by victimizing seniors, poisoning the soil that sustains us all, or corrupting the electoral process. They just like to fuck with ya so you don't forget who really calls the shots. Those are the boys whose heads should be a pink mist in the breeze.
