Ring of Fire: Elizabeth Warren Was Right - Corporations Robbing Us Blind



If you’ve ever signed up for a cell phone or taken a loan from a bank, then you’ve probably, unknowingly, signed an arbitration clause that prevents you from suing the company if they don’t uphold their part of the bargain. These arbitration clauses have become the standard for corporations, and they effectively strip away the rights from consumers to hold companies accountable. A recent Consumer Financial Protection Bureau report explains how these clauses are affecting consumers.

Corporations understand they have to pony up with a sizable quid now to get that pro quo in 2016.
