During the game, (Brownback) wore a T-shirt featuring the logos of both schools — but nonetheless got nothing but boos when he appeared on the screen at mid-court.

Afterward, he was in the Shockers’ locker room wearing a gold shirt someone gave him as he came in, bearing the words: “KINGS OF KANSAS.”

I think I was in the kitchen, but I could hear him laughing at it. We went to the polls and we tried. I think Lawrence (home of KU) is the one blue spot in the state. Parts of Sedgwick county also (WSU) I agree, the people who voted for him, deserve him, but not the kids, I have toughened up in my old age. I will survive him, really.

Cuts year after year for about 10 years are having a huge effect. No raises for 10 years? What do you think those who are still there are doing at work? Paid outside consulting work, for one. How can you create jobs if you cut the number one employer that much?
