Why would anyone listen to this guy on foreign policy?

(18,998 posts)No matter how wrong he has been in the past.
And those not heard from are the ones who were right.
That speaks volumes about our MSM.

(613 posts)I have to wonder what it takes to get rid of guys like Kristol. How many times does a pundit get it wrong before he or she is finally discounted as a reliable source?
If I was wrong in my job as many times as folks like Kristol have been, I would not have a job. Period.
At what point do people just stop listening to these people?
At what point do people who never get it right get fired?

(15,328 posts)Sorry - I thought I remembered a term (ballous?) for when something comes up your throat and makes you gag. I couldn't find that term, but this will do for Kristal and especially the slimy one - Kraksomething.

The MSM are desperate to look intelligent to attract the more librals, but to talk stupid to attract the rest. They don't care about right from wrong. They care about the artificial (Nielsen) ratings to convince the stoooopid Madison Avenue types to convince their corporate clients to send a bunch of money for something no body cares about any more.
Fortunately, I've stopped watching anything on the t.v. and can quickly filter their crap (so far.)

(406 posts)Just goes to show that those who are right about anything get far less coverage. Was probably invited on there so Kristol could take part in the Republican bukkake festival they were all engaged in with each other back in 2003 to paint anyone who didn't kiss their asses as a "traitor".
Surprised that wasn't on Fox, now that I think about it. Nothing gets their geriatric audience more buzzed than dusting off some stuff from the Nixon days, which they still want revenge for it to this very day.
