I have a friend who have had two of the phones that company produce - fairly good phones - as long as they are new - compared to many others sheap also - but they do have some design flaws - low battery life - and they have the habit on breaking down in a years time....

were designed that way. Day after the warranty, like Cinderella's carriage, they turn into crap..

I guess they are - but if they want to be a serious contender in the cell phone marked - they have to do more than just make phones who works for a year - and then broke down into crap - they need to do a lot of more to make sure it is also a quality to it.. It might work in PRC, where millions for the first time do have a phone to ring from - but in the larger world - the demand for quality is little more higher in that regards.... I'm on my 5th Sony now - having my first cell phone a decade ago - and rather happy with the phones - they last at least 3 years time - the battery life is better than most - and I have yet to be disappointed about them - but they cost more than Huawai cost. But worth it in the long run..
