Papantonio: Supreme Court Brutalizing The Working Class

When the founders wrote the Constitution, they wanted the Supreme Court to be a neutral body that was independent from the rest of government. While that sounds exactly like it should be, it isn’t what we have by any means.

The Supreme Court that we have today is nowhere near what the founders envisioned. In fact, today’s Roberts-led Supreme Court is the most corporate friendly court in our nation’s history. Rather than working for the people of our country, SCOTUS is working for corporate America, handing out decisions that give more power to corporations and the wealthy elite. And America’s working class? They’re being brutalized.

You can get a receipt at the ATM, but the same company can't provide a receipt at the voting precinct.

Aside from this, the point I was making was the Senate approval for SCOTUS. It's their vote that allowed these fascist to be appointed (now majority) of the court.
