Mohamed Osman Mohamud was sentenced to 30 years in prison for his attempt to set off a bomb at the November 2010 holiday-tree lighting ceremony in downtown Portland.
He had been on FBI radar since he as 15.
By the time he was 18, he FBI had given him a bogus email partner - a purported extremist - and recruited Mohamed to participate in a fake mass casualty event.
They paid for is travel to Portland and encouraged him to participate but always offered up a chance to bow out. They took him to a remote location and demonstrated a real bomb. They provided him with the truck, the fake bomb and a cell phone to remote detonate.
The FBI had this kid drive to truck to the tree lighting ceremony, park and walk away. When the kid pressed the button on the cell phone he was immediately arrested and charged with terrorism.

The FBI has a history of encouraging would-be (and often inept) terrorists, suggesting targets and weapons, providing material support and then busting them in the latter stages of planning.

Reaganism has created an America in which 50% of its children are living in poverty and have no hopes of going to college. The GOP continues to remove food and shelter to the human population of Americans. GOP continues to remove unionisms for the common good of workers making the young generation independent thinkers based on alienation, that pull themselves up by their militant boots and go out and find some kind of work. Who are they going to WORK for? GOP is arming everyone. Everywhere will become a gun friendly zone; like Texas. There is a bill, to let teachers shot to kill students at school, that the Extremist Tea Party controlled Texas Legislature will consider this Spring.

President Obama wants to make a two-year state college education available to every American student. America needs workers with Certificates and Associate Degrees very badly.

12. Adding: going to college would put every student in high school in a situation with a Counselor to

set up a college degree plan starting in the Junior year. Students could start thinking about a successful future of work, a home and maybe a family instead or having nothing to look forward to or being drafted to a new war. Could some Americans see the real enemy as the 1%?

On this board, we have talked about how the 1% paying their fair share of taxes could fund this endeavor. Equality will be the great issue of the 2016 campaign. Do we close loop holes and straighten out the federal revenue for the middle class or send more money to contractors fighting a harmful and destructive war. There needs to be a new war on poverty here inside America.
