is working his way up through the ranks of the GOP and earning his stripes, as well as learning and mastering their double-speak. Thom laid it out on the table for anyone with open eyes and a logical brain: Most of these guys have full time jobs, but they don't make enough money to support their families, so they gotta go on food stamps. It's either raise the minimum wage so these working people get out of poverty, or expand food stamps and benefits, period. This kind of Republican double speak gives Horatio Alger a bad name - even if you pull one guy up by his bootstraps and get him a better job, that job at Walmart that he left will have to be filled by someone - who will have to go on food stamps to make ends meet. It's a vicious cycle of poverty that the Republijerks don't want to acknowledge.
