what kind of corruption has be going on with the BP litigation. My clients were interviewed for it and Ed was shocked! He thought what most think, that BP has settled with all but the fraudulent victims. Nothing could be further from the truth! BP has been the biggest advertiser on the Gulf Coast and one of the biggest in the nation since the Gulf oil spill. For that they receive a pass on any stories showing the victims and what has really been happening.
The biggest thing is yet to come, the fact that the Plaintiff Steering Committee (PSC) has been bribed to agree and fight to protect a one-sided Class Action Settlement. The PSC will receive $660,000,000 from BP if the Class Settlement makes it through to the end without being overturned. This settlement is the worst deal ever with 75% of the victims getting denied any compensation and most victims are still waiting for an offer. The PSC represents all victims of the spill, but will not fight to overturn something that they have agreed has turned out badly because they will lose $660,000,000 if they do. The judge appointed these law firms to the steering committee and seems willing to protect the PSC so they can get the money. It is the biggest conflict of interest ever, right out in the open.
BP has sponsored the U.S. Olympic team, yes BRITISH Petroleum sponsored us! They have also bought up almost every single documentary filmed about the spill so you don't see it. I could go on for days with stuff like buying off OBAMA before the 2010 mid-terms and getting the Coast Guard to spray the Corexit to sink the oil to the bottom, out of sight. Their corruption knows no bounds and only Ed Schultz will air a story about it! Thanks Ed!!!!!!!
