He can't answer because he hasn't been told what to say.

It looks like it's out of the 70's at best.

He looks like a crazy person not answering that question.

If he were to concede that evolution is real, then he'd have to worry that those who put this rube in office, will have their senses evolve and leave him to history's dust bin.

I am no fan of right-wing ideology to begin with, but the last 30-40 years of seeing the Republican Party prostrate itself at the feet of teh anti-intellectual / anti-rational thought religious nut bags is way too far for me to abide.

Even if I did believe 1/2 of the shit they spew forth from their lying mouths about "small government" and "freedom" (which no sentient being with an IQ above room temperature SHOULD), I would STILL recoil in horror from that clown circus of double-speak and pandering that is the current GOP field. They are so intent on not allowing Huckabee and his inbred minions to beat them up in the primaries about science in general or specifics like vaccines, climate and evolution that they WILLING make themselves look like fools to avoid offending the true fools who DO believe that crap.

This should be AUTOMATIC disqualification to even RUN for President, but instead its required idiocy for right wing conservatives.

(As an aside, the British press makes the Americans look like real pikers when they are able to expose American Republicans in literally ONE QUESTION, while the 'journalists' on this side of the Atlantic simply cave to them or lob softballs and platitudes at them. Good on the Brits, shame on us...)
