Why Conservatives Hate Big Government

1. They love big government.

The DHS was their creation.
They are trying to control every woman in the country. Those two things alone make that statement a joke.

2. That's why the Koch Libertarian GOP is after our government and people are falling for their game...

Including people on both sides of the aisle, no matter what issue they push. The Union is in effect the union of the people to represent their interests against the feudal forces. It'll be cheered as it comes to pass.

3. There are things about government I hate, too

I don't like all the police raids on people's homes who are suspected of drug possession just because some ambitious DA wants to bring in money through asset forfeiture. In those cases, the government keeps the property even though you haven't been convicted of anything (guilty until proven innocent). I don't like what is happening in the desert outside Los Angeles in the middle of nowhere where people are being raided and then evicted for their old buildings not being up to county code, probably so some fat cat real estate developer can then acquire the land at a low cost. You see horror stories about it on youtube, but these people aren't rich and powerful and can't defend themselves.

I think in those two cases, however, right wingers would love what government is doing.
