John Q Peon I don't like it either. But I'd bet my Rep does! My rep likes just what he's told to... not by me, of course!

Alan Grayson is a rational person. What more can I say.

There is no rationale for the TPP.

If we want to trade with, say, Viet Nam, let's enter into a one to one agreement with Viet Nam that is enforced in our and their courts. Let's see how our trade works with Viet Nam. Are we just going to buy products from that country, or is Viet Nam also going to buy products from us?

We cannot keep buying from all these countries on our credit.

I hope Alan Grayson will develop this future.

I hope to post on this. I would like to make a list or chart that shows sample countries from different areas of the world and compares their population size, GDP, balance of payments -- trade deficit or surplus -- their median wage and details about their social network.

If I had the time, I would also write what I could about their banking policies, their tax policies and their expenditures on their military defense.

We are getting taken royally.

Our military plays a major role in keeping the trade routes open so that other countries can buy up our country. Not only do we lose on the trade in that we have a gigantic trade deficit, but we lose when we pay to defend the trade that results in that deficit.

But this will not change until the American people elect members of Congress who care about America and not just about the 1%.

Hillary Clinton is supported by the Waltons and Wall Street. She will not change this situation. Neither will any Republican candidate for president. And the presidential candidate is in charge or the party usually and is the only person who can influence who our candidates for Congress are other than the local members of the Democratic Party.

Hey. DUers, let's get on this. No to TPP. Let's start marching our trade agreements back or renegotiating them.
