These guards were working in isolated conditions, stressed out, angry themselves, away from home -- I cannot think of one thing that may have been there for the guards to help keep them balanced. The guards were prisoners of the system.

Iran is one of the very worst places for freedom on the planet. Women in Iran are legally worth half a man is worth, and wives need husbands' permission to work outside the home. I mean WTF?
