(6,045 posts)cartoonist & journalist for the violence Muslims might do in response to the cartoons &/or stories that are printed...That is beyond ABSURD!!
Not only that he takes it to a Alex Jones like conspiracy level and says the cartoons are some big plot to drive Muslims out of Europe! LOL!
SAD! Not something to promote.

(81,860 posts)He's saying that some cartoons are provocative with the purpose of getting people to act provocatively. And if those people act violently then it serves the purpose of the cartoon. It's basically someone doing something they know will piss you off with the expectation that you will get upset.

(6,045 posts)Go back & listen again...He is one of those Muslims who really thinks Islam can take over Europe (& the world) if only the Muslims can continue having babies at a much higher rate than non-Muslim Europeans. However, the sad news for this nut is most European Muslims do not share his vision & are not in Europe to take over & bring down democracy just like most Europeans (including the cartoonist) are not actively trying provoke terrorism in order to block Muslims from taking over Europe! The TRUTH is most people in Europe just want to live a peaceful life in a democracy & understand the value in the right to freedom of speech...Even if what others do with their right may be offensive.
Nothing more than conspiracy theory BS.

(2,065 posts)Conspiracy theories and counter-conspiracy theories in response. Where would it all end? I know that when I visited my pan flute teacher in Brussels, Belgium, they rented an apartment for me to stay in that was in the middle of "Little Baghdad" - Middle Eastern food wholesalers downstairs, apartments upstairs. My teacher and all his friends and relatives were more than just a little bit wary and paranoid of the great influx of Muslims, and how could you blame them? Europeans have, arguably, stronger national and racial identity grounds for being suspicious of the Muslim invasion than we do in the US, a country that was created to be a multinational melting pot. To Europeans, the current Muslim invasion probably brings back memories of the invading Ottoman Turks knocking at the gates of Vienna. It seems that what the Muslims couldn't achieve by military means back then they are achieving through immigration now.

(81,860 posts)There is no "invasion" going on. People are ending up in Europe either legally or illegally, but this is not a violent forced takeover by an invading army.
