1. Felonies

Since when does the U.S. government prosecute its own people for war crimes? We only prosecute and jail whistleblowers. The idea of Cheney and Bush standing in the dock is a comforting fantasy, but that's all it is.

2. It was something GWB took seriously, since SCOTUS ruled Geneva applied to the detainees, that would

seemingly legally imply it was something to be applied to BOTH sides.

But, yes, since GW's years and continuing today, our record on whistleblowers is another abomination.

4. According to Republicans this is all an example of disgraceful politics....

They're saying Democrats are pushing this now because they think running against Bush is what won them the congress and they don't have anything else to run on.
