Morning Joe Hosts Totally Lose It During Segment on Furries

http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2014/12/morning-joe-mika-furries.html?mid=google

When Mika Brzezinski was tasked with reporting on the chlorine attack at a Chicago furry convention this weekend, the confusion in her voice became palpable. "Did I get that wrong?" she asks, stumbling over the words "furry convention." No, Mika. No, you did not.

While their co-host tries to continue reporting on the story with a straight face, Joe Scarborough giggles helplessly into his fist and Brzezinski hides her face. During a cutaway to news footage of the story, the two hosts apparently filled Mika in on what a furry is, and she straight up runs out of the studio.

Sorry, Mika. Some things you can never unlearn.

If you try to poison us with chlorine are you not a terrorist?

Just pointing out, I can't breath is applicable in other situations.

They are all so in love with their own opinions it just makes me want to get in on it, to be accepted.

Alas, it will never be.

..is a source of ridicule but it is o so normal for people to paint their face, and other body parts, at sporting events. All just normal team spirit. And don't get me started about those deviants who do civil war reinactments or colonial Williamsburg or those sick red hat ladies. Or the bohemian grove sickos.

Although getting inside her head is not an experiment I'm willing to try. But there is a whole sub genre of furry porn, and "normal" people seem to get all hot and bothered when confronted by people who set free their inner groundhog. In general, I've noticed that people who indulge in any sort of fantasy -- furry, role playing, whatever -- tend to be regarded askance by those who pride themselves on their conformity.
