The lyrics are a bit "on the nose" (troll pun, hehe) for me. But... it's got a... cool story.
Trolls can be useful when dealing with assholes on the Internet, which is their opposite number.
Studies have shown that most trolls are disaffected, lonely, impoverished white males, the same people that join the military or white supremacist groups like the Republican party (depending on how closeted they are.) whereas assholes on the Internet are the people who actually sit in those offices and immaculate homes, consigning people to homelessness and poverty, watching sports while cameras go up on the street not just placing a wire fence around your computer but around your convenience store -- all for the benefit of those who feel protected. Pretending to be liberals while they support pocketbook conservative policies (what, you thought they infiltrated boards like this to troll you?) Which is why no change will come to the current police scandal, because secular capitalist society exists to protect those who already feel protected.
