And, dare I say without discounting one scintilla the ravages of brutal racism, ALL of us are experiencing the radical income inequity that is destroying our nation! Perhaps, the murder of Mike Brown will help shine a light on this reality, and motivate more of us to work together to stop the corporate megalomaniacs before they destroy our entire country. I don't hold out much hope, as too many of the white folk in this nation can't look their racism in the face and say, "No MORE!"

I blame most of the racism on MSM. They demonize (ordered to) the minorities (soon to be majorities) on so many levels so TPTB aren't held accountable for their wealth theft.
The white masses eat it up. I am white but I can think and observe.
Until the masses of all colors wake up to the real problem...wealth inequality, and ACT to stop it America will continue to be two nations, the advantaged and the rest of us.

He is so right

Voting is just a simple after thought beyond the time and effort one needs to expend to be a real citizen.

I can just see the Koch Brothers now...........

"Just get out there and vote. Just get out there and vote"

With the emphasis on JUST

That way only the likes of a Koch brother can supply the proper candidates while everyone else just stays home and watches TV.

WE KNOW!

We know things are getting worse.

We know wealth and income divides are increasing.

We know the jobs future looks grim for most kids.

What we don't know is WHAT'S THE ANSWER?

Jobs will always migrate to the lowest paid areas (it happened here in the US with New England losing jobs to the South, but no one cared until we lost them to China)

Automation will reduce employment.

We live longer and pile up more bills.

So, what the fuck do we do about it besides complain?

BTW, the Koch brothers, GM, and everyone else with a few bucks will happily accept answer that makes them more money. But, is that a problem if it puts people to work?

We're being asked/told to join and contribute to more and more so-called non-profits that are supposedly going to perform the democratic tasks we would/should expect from our elected political leaders....$$$$$$$

about the crisis not being solved by voting has less to do with the Koch brothers making it more difficult to vote and more to do with having candidates who stand for something other than the stats quo.
