Jim Wishner passed away a couple years ago from cancer. Did you ever hear him on the radio?

We visited him once when he lived up there. He lived on the island. So we drove over that lift bridge.

I was wearing out Levy's about 1 every three months... always the same... holes in the area of the left knee. I could never figure out why.

Anyways.. I bought a pair of firehose about a year and a half ago. Bought four more pair of firehose a year ago.. wear 'em every day. They are as good as the day I bought 'em.

No, I don't work for the company or own stock.

And his firehose pants and ballroom jeans.

The company making more stuff in the US is great and makes him much happier to pay the higher price.

...to, at least, see an awareness by Americans of their potential involvement in 'guerrilla' marketing campaigns. As for this ad', I think you've already established your progressiveness so there is no suspicion on my part, that you are an industry shill.

As a matter of fact, I'm all for American manufacturing, especially "jeans" that despite my old age, I still wear every day.

It is devoted to news and affairs of our town and neighboring South Orange. There are a couple of added towns but those links have little traffic.

Anyways, the site still runs (Maplewood Online) and the brothers are making profit off it.

To the point: In the community forum, people are always praising or denigrating local businesses. With the praise, there are sometimes disclaimers, mostly from new posters who explain they do not own the business. We know most of the regular posters so they do not disclaim.

Then comes the random post from a person with a new "handle." This person wants to tell us about the experience just had with the new ..... shop or service that opened in the next town. The writing is so stilted that it sticks out.

This is then followed by wonderful snark.

I post some real good shit on this site. A few peeps get it, then some of it gets tagged and removed or let pass.

If I put the sarcasm thingy on, it would pass. To get it without the emoticon, requires intelligence.

They are not bashful about illustrating the "unmentionable" issues of standard clothing... like those "Buck Naked" underwear ads.

Glad to see the product is made right here in the U.S.!

they add extra material in places where it is often needed, means it is at least more roomy. I usually go with L.L. Bean whenever I have the extra $$ but I expect Duluth is the MW's version of Bean.
