(11,012 posts)good and so funny, too. After the concert, we walked from the auditorium to a restuarant in the River Walk. Lo and behold, Peter, Paul, and Mary were walking with us to the same restaurant. Nice, nice people.

(38,439 posts)My first time was in 66 or 67. I do recall a wonderful concert, but I also recall that the venue was known for bad sound. So Peter comes out before the concert, and spends 10 minutes testing the sound in all directions. There were 6 or 7 thousand and he wanted everyone to hear. Also, I have been to a few concerts, and the Peter, Paul, and Mary, always sounded clear and better than the recordings. and that was no mistake.

Always loved this song and still do.
