I can't even post my reaction or I'd go to Jury....

Was that your reaction also?

BTW...I'm a Christian, Episcopalian even though I don't "Do Church" anymore after "9/11" when I couldn't deal with the fact that our Christian Churches didn't take a stand against the Iraq Invasion...and I just couldn't deal with the prayers that had nothing to do with the havoc USA and West was causing against Innocents. I had to leave the Church (although Episcopalians are very inclusive of LBGT Community....it seemed to me that there wasn't a Christian "There There" against War and persecuting innocents caught up in Global Interests. The Episcopal Church left ME ....by not addressing War Issues.

But, I find this Address by Obama offensive. And wonder what our other DU'ers would think of it. I'm all for a President not getting into Religion in any way. It's part of why our country was founded because so many fled here because of religious persecution that the founders felt that was important to not allow any particular religious group to ever get into control of our Government to push forward their beliefs to control all Americans.

I disagree with this address at that "Prayer Breakfast" because I don't believe any President of the USA should ever make such statements taking a Partisan Stand on Religion.

Nevermind....i think I understand your conflict might be same as mine.
