(16,254 posts)If you had made it into office with that floozy, Palin, THAT would have been the worst administration of all time.
You've always used those around you to succeed in life. It is past time for you to retire and leave the rest of us to get this country squared around. God knows most of us won't live long enough to see the damage corrected, but at least we'll give it a good shot.
Oh, take Lindsay with you...please!

(165 posts)All the cable networks love to get mc cain on the sunday shows. He is the worst guest and we will always know what he will say. He and L. Graham are the same. 2 old, senile men, that prefer wars over peace, killing of our troops. And McCain was silent when the Vets. hospital in Phoenix was having big issues. The vets were NOT getting any replies from McCain, he was NOT supporting them. McCain was hiding the lack of treatment vets were getting.
Yet he says he is for vets. No McCain is just for the big war machines, and making billions for those companies supporting the military. The Republicans never questioned G. Bush and Cheney during the 8 year term. Economy and jobs were destroyed and Republicans never knew what was happening.

(5,901 posts)I'm certain his experiences as a POW were horrible, but he was a hot-shot pilot frequently in hot water for his antics and his escapades apparently got him captured in the first place.
All in all, he's an embarrassment whose only footnote in history will be that of naming an unqualified boozy goofball as his doomed running mate.

(81,304 posts)Your taste is in your mouth, mccain. Or maybe up your ass. And we all remember how you hugged up that fucker after his campaign smeared AND slandered you, your WIFE, and your ADOPTED DAUGHTER, who was under-age at the time, and happens to have darker skin than you do. I believe that innocent young girl was from Bangladesh. And what they said about her on behalf of the bush/cheney campaign, was utterly criminal. Even worse was the idiot voters who swallowed that shit whole!
And, btw, HOW MANY fighter jets did you crash with your recklessness back in the day? HOW MUCH have you cost the taxpayers?

(277 posts)It just goes to show how wrong those in the media who have praised McCain as a Bi-Partisan voice of reason are. In reality, he is a very bitter man.
President Obama inherited the worst economy of the modern era and a multiple-front global war. He took on these challenges succeeded in a huge way all the while spearheading the passage of the Affordable Care Act. I truly believe that historians will rate the Obama Presidency as among the greatest.
That fact that his policies will continue when he is followed by Hillary makes me see a great future for our country.

And look for the Stan Lee cameo in the background!

(750 posts)The hug is very telling, it suggests how McCain idols George Bush.
In That national exposure McCain acts like a high school girl infatuated with George Bush, groping hands of the infatuated spirit in the ultimate worship.
Pictured showing his inspiration that is possessed as the fool he is in unreasoning passion, a willing Bush puppet to do anything for the guy he loves. Do you think McCain whispered want to get married?
Only having fun, but it is an engaging notion they will do anything to get elected.

It just runs my blood pressure up and makes me really angry and upset. And that SOB is not worth it! He keeps on trying to run his worn out rhetoric up the flag pole to see who will salute. He seems to forget that he had his day, he had his moment in the sun and he BLEW IT! For lots of reasons. But he just can't seem to grasp that and move on.
He is a doddering old fool and is the very definition of insanity. He keeps doing the same thing .... over and over.....and somehow in his pea size brain expects a different outcome.
I can't believe that at one point in time, I actually admired him and felt pity for the way he was smeared and trashed by Shrub. Now, I feel nothing but contempt and disrespect for his behavior since he lost to President Obama. He is the epitome of SORE LOSER. Bad form, McCain, Bad Form.

(11,945 posts)We seem to have reached the point where those who lose presidential elections need to be informed that if they spend the next 4 - 8 years trashing the winner, they're gonna look bad. Seriously bad.

(17,656 posts)He's like the unsuccessful brother-in-law of one of the cousins, a total loser who can never tell the truth, can never take any time out of his day to help someone else, and always -- always -- thinks he has a better idea of how to do something than anyone else.
He's the complete jackass that everyone hopes will have a reason so he can skip coming to the family's Thanksgiving dinner this year, just once, while Mother is yet still alive.
He's the gargoyle at the table, always sitting down first, hours ahead of dinnertime, parking his ass smack dab near the middle, until he is asked, like he is asked each and every year, to move down a few chairs so the 2 sisters, who grew up sleeping in the same bedroom, and that now live 1500 miles apart, and haven't seen each other since Christmas, can sit next to each other and giggle to each other like they did when they were kids.
He barely graduated from high school, and received more "C's" than any other two people in the room combined, yet that doesn't prevent him from telling anyone that they are wrong, whether they are talking about how to run their own business, or which car to buy in the market this year, or how to fix a leaky spigot.
In a word, he is a putz.

(5,106 posts)election. I've seen the aftermaths of quite a few presidential elections. I know I've never seen as poor a loser as McCain. And his loss was the election BEFORE last. Even during the W Bush buffoonery, Gore and Kerry stayed remarkably "classy," all things considered.
