3. This looks like murder to me.

But, as I have learned after this horrible incident, it is "legal murder".

Cops have a legal protection that they can shoot someone who has a weapon and is within 21 feet. I just wonder if I can request an officer to stay 21 feet away from me, in case they think they saw me with a weapon. There have been plenty of stories where someone got shot when all they had was a toy gun, a bb gun or a Wii controller. I do not want any confusion, especially when it looks like they are making calls within 20 seconds of appearing on the scene.

This is even more appalling when compared to the videos of the police dealing with the old man in pajama pants standing in the road with a gun (a long gun, whatever that is called), and they talked to him for 40 minutes.
