Pap Attack: Marijuana Restrictions - Primitive and Outdated

The federal government has consistently overreached in their efforts to block medical marijuana research. To even begin to study a research group will need a license from the DEA which is virtually impossible; and then of course the researcher needs a legal marijuana source. The DEA also consistently refuses to grant even temporary licenses to allow legal marijuana imports for medical research.

But at the same time, those same gatekeepers keep repeating the mantra that there is today, insufficient research and study to meet the FDA’s standards for drug approval. Which in itself is kind of a giggle moment when you consider that more Americans die every year from FDA approved painkillers and voodoo drugs than all the so-called street drugs combined.

Vicodin HP which all cause serious side effects and damage to internal organs over time. They are trying to say that pot is worse? Give me a break! There is no clearer example of our government being bought off than this issue! The needless suffering that is being caused by this is huge! Just think of the deaths caused by the above mentioned pills which could have been prevented had medical marihuana been approved for all Americans. Sorry, but I hope everyone allowing this insane policy to continue end up suffering from a debilitating, painful condition that is alleviated by pot! I just drove 4 hours round trip because the pharmacies will not fill my script since my specialist is out of town. The reason, all of the addicts hooked on prescription pain killers have to find their pill doctors in Houston and not my small town where everyone knows everyone else.

Too much $$$$$$ from illegal sales is making its way to top law and political officials.

Add to that the long-established budget$ for pot destruction and enforcement, and we have a situation
of deeply-embedded, ingrained bribery, keeping cannabis illegal, from the inside of Gov't.

Excellent-Quality cannabis could and should be available for $50 an Ounce, everywhere.
Maybe less in the best growing areas.

Free The People to grow it,
and it will not only be no longer a "criminal crop", it won't be much of a cash crop either.

Hardly more than heirloom tomatoes.

I speak the truth, from experience.
