‘We are all Gaza’: West bank rises up against Israel

RT * Published on Aug 4, 2014

The death toll in Gaza has hit over 1,600 since Israel launched operation Protective Edge on July 8. The international community is pushing the sides to ceasefire as the world opinion rallies against Tel Aviv's operation. And Palestinians living in the West Bank express their solidarity with Gaza. Harry Fear reports.

- This is inhumane. Particularly the silence from the White House at this human carnage.

Meanwhile people are being slaughtered.
We're all outraged over the Ukraine situation (bad bad Russia)but by giving money to weapons ( money) aren't we just as bad!
Sanctimonious bullshit!

You point to a wonderful example of COGNITIVE DISSONANCE. The irrationality of it is lost upon many in the population of this country.

They can't seem to recognize how we can hold contrary policies and actions involving similar circumstances -- and that even though doing so it will always logically result in our making the right decision by taking opposing sides in this manner and that is should be accepted. And not questioned.

- The final step is to appear to make this all seem normal and in no way neurotic behavior. And there you have a template for modern American cultural meme.....

I'm glad someone else noticed our strange (psychotic) foreign policy.

No one I personally know is paying any attention to what our government is doing.

Americans are sheeple!

We no longer have a media that even tries to be objective (thanks to Reagan's abolishing of the Fairness Doctrine). Another problem is that with the advent of the 24 hour news cycle, journalists have no time to do investigative journalism. Add to that the power of AIPAC and its supporters in the evangelical Christian movement and there you have it. I have some hope, though, because young people in particular don't get their news from the major networks; they get it online and thus have access to more varied sources of information, including foreign sources. That, I think, is why polls show that young people are not as supportive of Israel in the current conflict than older people are.

I am beyond disgusted at the general populace ignorance on what our country is doing.
Yes your right the news medial is worthless unless you want to know what the paparazzi is up to.
True reporters face lawsuits or possible arrests.
I can only hope people wake the heck up before November or we are in big trouble in this country.
