(429 posts)I also feel the cops are more violent and they take more liberties with the law and human civilian life which tends to lead to unnecessary and senseless civilian pain and deaths.

(76 posts)Agree totally. If the want to play Army, join the Army. This video needs to be pushed far and wide.
I'm a veteran and it pisses me off seeing American cops play GI Joe/SS with their fellow citizens. Maybe its me, this seems to be escalating probably because we're conditioned to tolerate it.

(54,770 posts)so as well. Police don't need a tank, and private citizens don't need a weapons cache and a toter tucked in their pants.

One DOES NOT have to be a politician to have these political views.
He is commenting (albeit in a comedic fashion), on political issues.
Therefore his ''political jokes'' reflects his political views.

(2,941 posts)Whenever there's a state-sanctioned-invasion-of-privacy issue knocking around, a few chirpy types pop up to say: "Hey, I don't mind if the government wants to spy on me I've got nothing to hide and I'm quite boring really." That's your prerogative, but Jesus Christ, how did you get so beaten down, Mr Cog-in-the-Wheel? Mr Pebble-on-the-Beach. Is that really how you see yourself? As a worthless microbe content to be plucked from the stream, examined for a moment and tossed back like an unremarkable, unwanted sprat? An insignificant fluffspeck wafting through the vast aircraft hangar of life, buffeted hither and thither by the nonchalant farts of the powerful?
