She came with her parents are night and all she could see was the sand, so she told me I had a really big sandbox.

The next day we got up and went to the ocean and she as amazed at what a big pool I had. ha ha . It would have been a great few days if she came without her parents, after that I would just pick her up and take her with me and leave her folks behind. .

I once saw a piece of a nature documentary. This particular piece was about a tiger that lost her cub. A big badass tiger mom that killed others to eat and was teaching her cubs to kill. This mother obviously obviously mourned, carrying the dead cub for hours before finally accepting its demise.

I don't know why I brought that up other than to point out that I agree 100% with you.

that I've watched a few times. Two elephants that were together in a circus for years, the younger of which grew up there. Both showed signs of abuse from their time there, but the older looked like she had been through Hell. They were seperated for a number of years, but were brought back together at an elephant sancuary. They were placed in seperate pens as a precaution at first, but kept trying to push past the barricade to be together. It was a very sweet reunion.

I keep an eye out for vids like that to keep my faith up. It sometimes seems that only people that work with animals are worthy of being called animals.

on edit: i don't work with animals, but maybe I should.
