Remember, the majority of the population either thinks Benghazi is an Italian dish, or is a great failure on the part of Obama, crime, etc., only about a third of the country realizes what it actually is.

If that

A now-blocked former high school classmate posted an article from the Conservative Digest on this subject, and the comments were just one face-palm after another.

Some were saying that it was finally tax dollars well spent. Others that the committee should be given whatever they need. Etc., etc., etc.

Sweet Jesus, what a bunch of idiots.

In fact, I thought I read that he was somewhat ticked off about this development, seeing it as an implied criticism of his own extensive investigation.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say No.

Some reporters have concluded that Issa might be ticked off at the naming of a new "Select Committee" for which he wasn't selected. See "Did Darrell Issa Just Sabotage the New Benghazi Committee?" for an interesting take on the subject from several weeks ago.

Money for scandal-mongering and witch-hunting. And then while we're at it, MORE money - for another war, 'eh? Sounds great!!!

No money for job-creation. No money for the poor. No money for food stamp programs for the hungry and needy. No money for bridge repair or other road work! Bah! Humbug!

But we can ALWAYS find more money for war and witch-hunting! TONS of it. A bottomless pit! The always-reliable American taxpayer comes through AGAIN!!!

Yay...

History proves time and time again they waste vastly more money than liberals and on crap that can't possibly do society a lick of good. Yet conservatives pretend they're better at economics... at this point in my life I just laugh.

Why Benghazi, the real cool reason now obvious

Or any other committee budgeted for the public venue that becomes hot for the 2014 election or the 2016 Hillary political battle.

From my view all Hillary has to do is say not only Benghazi needs to be investigated but the entire 911 happening needs to be investigated.

Hillary admitting that it was a mistake is very powerful to define that Bush war as “Bad Juju”.

Yep, it is easy to see the Republican GOP criminal syndicate uses the American tax dollars in committee investigations for political theater to gin up a candidate that will look like what it takes to win the elections or someone to take on Hillary because they know the field is so thin on the GOP side they will have to resort to an American idol or another Ronald Reagan movie star.

It is so obvious now the mainstream media is playing the game with them, Rush Limbaugh a free market hate radio icon admits openly arrogantly that from Monday through Thursday radio callers do not have a first amendment right.

The religious right baffled by the new transgender culture that is not defined in the bible however is in the public venue accepted throughout the world.

Transgender are personal decisions, as medical abortion and ultra sound are personal that is the so called “free will” or connected to the single payer health care usually trumped in America by the GOP with at will principle.

The GOP is freaking out, driving the right wing religious Conservatives that really do not care about the soul that is yours to keep, they view it as theirs to steal away with every donation of your tax dollars by appropriations.

that's a lot of money for a committee on something in which they don't believe, or pretend not to believe to get through their primaries

That's really kind of shocking - even for today's Republicans. Isn't that a big waste of money? I mean, if the investigation means we're going to change policy, and you're biggest policy concern is whether the president says "terrorism" or not, then yeah, I guess it's worth it. I guess I wouldn't have batted on eye on spending millions to investigate our folly in Iraq - but only if I thought it would lead to reform. What's to reform here, exactly?
