A new study shows that when Americans don't have enough time or energy to give thought to a particular political issue - they tend to accept the Conservative argument more often. But what exactly IS the Conservative argument nowadays in America?

2. I always cringe when someone praises Eisenhower...

His administration overthrew the legitimate governments of Iran and Guatemala and did irreparable harm in Central and South America and the Middle East.

Eisenhower did nothing for civil rights in this country. All he did was keep the status quo going. Yes, Eisenhower was a conservative but no thanks, I will stay with my liberal ideology. I for one see nothing good about "conservative" values.

Conservative: a selfish or stupid person.
