on a amtrak train tour through the mountains, because the marginal producat gained is so low, because it takes so much energy to grind up the shale to get it out

and it leaves HIDIOUS mountains of slag, that make strip mining look like 'good stewardship' by comparison

to go at this while ignoring any real conservation with leave evidence that will make us hated for thousands of years
