We will probably not really "destroy" nature, we may very well change it to something that cannot support life as we know it but "nature" will still exist and sometime after we are al gone the way of the dinosaur the earth will heal into something different that we know and most likely life of some sort will exist, most likely not in a "human" form as we recognize it.
