What a different world we might have had with JFK, MLK, RFK.

1. An alternate history.....

If JFK had lived and been able to continue all of his initiatives, from ending the Cold War and the nuclear arms race to exploring the moon with the Russians.

• Poverty in the US would be diminished, with things like hunger and maternal death rates continually falling;
  
• The Cold War might have been effectively ended without the precipitous collapse of the Soviet Union that has brought so much suffering to the people of the Former Soviet Union;
  
• We would be well on our war to ending discrimination against our Black and Latino citizens;
  
• The power of the Military Industrial Complex would be vastly lessened, and
  
• We would be exploring the planets with international crews.

Sometimes I think we're living in the Mirror Universe, an empire ruled by those with an unquenchable thirst for power.

Oh, wait....That's the universe we are living in!
