1. This can be said to be an execution. But a lynching...HELL NO!

A lynching is specific and detailed. A lynching is not just chasing down a slave, whipping them, then killing them but then the bodies are disfigured. There is a dehumanization process. They cut up the body and then remove the genitalia and pass that out and at sometimes disembowel the body. The idea is not just a killing is to destroy any sense of humanity or relation to humanity from the body.

In this case, it does not equate to a lynching. An execution style method is the closest comparison though.

2. Martyrdom is a choice to die for ones beliefs.

This was a pointless murder. Tayvon never had any choice.

3. Reality

I apologize for posting without a Trayvon link, but if I may offer a lesson to a very cool young man who I believe has a great future.
I haven't owned a TV for many years. The internet is much better.
I hadn't seen Geraldo in years & years. The first time I recently saw him was a posted video at Occupy with his camera "entourage", where he was quite quickly shouted down & left in a hissy, with "FOX lies…"
I thought God is he still around? He looks awful. Old. oLd, olD. The price of selling out.
Hollywood is a dying dinosaur whose throws we have all muted with the internet.
Geraldo's Daddy Murdoch is getting raked over the well deserved coals and Geraldo's in a panic. This is what we here in Hollywood (though I am only into music) know as a Publicity Stunt on the level of "Sunset Blvd."
It's nauseating.
You will see a lot of dinosaurs doing "Sunset Blvd." in the coming change. Ignore them.
A hoodie has been around for probably 70 or 80 years (I know google if not longer. Should we ban the handwoven ones from Mexico. No, just Geraldo & FOX smews…
