(17,204 posts)Dem or Repub. The "team approach" means that all we want are compliant yes-men, not leadership with integrity, honesty, or dignity. "Keep with the program" is the overriding mantra.

(11,087 posts)Big lies (plural), really.
Unions bad. Job creators good. Cutting workers wages helps business be more productive and therefore helps the economy. Environmental regulations, or any kind of regulations, place an unnecessary burden on businesses. After all, excessive regulations caused the banking crisis of 2008. We should just let them regulate themselves, because they won't try to profit off killing innocent bystanders. Exxon Mobil won't melt all the ice sheets because global warming is a hoax perpetrated by the Al Gore/climate scientist complex. Corporations and rich people shouldn't pay any taxes. Taxes are for poor people. The more wealth the wealthy have, the more will trickle down on poor people. Any programs that help poor people should be abolished. Government should be kept small (where it oversees business activities or tries to help the poor), but should use every technological means available to spy on people's sex lives and make sure to punish all the perverts so we don't get hit by so many hurricanes and earthquakes. And we should spend as much money as possible on the military because the whole world hates us. For our freedoms. Benghazi. Amen.
Who wouldn't want to run on that platform?
