about what we will see? Please? I appreciate your trigger warning but I'm just not up for painful surprises tonight. I prefer to prepare myself mentally before I dive in.

Thanks!

6. A maximum of 3 billion and a goal of 2 billion humans

is the only thing that will save us and thousands of the World's species. We lack the will to change. Some of us have changed, but overall, there's too many people adding to what's wrong with our species and too many people breeding uncontrollably.

Match human populations to graphs showing CO2 pollution, the destruction of species, plastics in the food chain or anything else negative. There's a one to one correlation. We're the problem. Less of us is the only way to save anything at this point and again, nobody is addressing the problem on a global scale. We need leadership, but good luck finding anyone willing to take a political stand on the issue, for as much as we know we need to change, there's absolutely no way a leader would ever be re-elected, let alone survive their first term if they stood up and lead on population control. It's a pickle. Enjoy the time you have.

there were 1 or 2 billion less humans than there are now and those 1 or 2 billion humans abused the earth the way the 3 billion abuse it, it wouldn't make a difference.

to watch it after the first few seconds but I did scroll down to cover the images so I could listen to it.

This is so important. I have been trying to tell everyone who will listen all of the same things. We all have to tell everyone we know that we cannot go on this way anymore. It really is true in this case, if you aren't part of the solution, you are part of the problem.

I'm not sure I have the stomach for animal cruelty, but will try to watch or listen none the less. We can't keep our eyes and hearts closed.

Many of those who seem bent on destroying the planet think they are doing the right thing.

Knowing what's really the right thing is a challenge. We meet that challenge best when we are honest with ourselves, and kind and loving within ourselves; when we stop chattering and running in circles and instead we listen.

Just do your bit to make things here a little better, be an example in your day to day life - what else can one do? The rough times this planet going thru is just the birth pangs to a much better future.
