"Tea Party activist Rafael Cruz apologized Sunday evening after a "pornographic picture" was posted on his personal Facebook page.

Cruz, the father of Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and a popular conservative speaker himself, said his account had been hacked, reported Talking Points Memo.

"Someone hacked my account and posted a pornographic picture on my Facebook," Cruz said in the post. "I have already deleted it and sent a report to Facebook. I sincerely regret this and apologize for this incident, which occurred without my knowledge or consent."
