Pastor says Obama will bring anti-Christ by having people rely on government. Getting ridiculous.

From the You Tube video link:

Published on Jan 25, 2014

"Pastor Robert Jeffress sat down with Bill O'Reilly Monday night to argue that President Obama is laying the groundwork for the rise of the Anti-Christ because he is "conditioning" people to rely on government support. He said there will be a "future world dictator before Christ returns who's going to usurp people's personal rights, and "change God's laws... without any opposition" so "people will have been conditioned long before the Antichrist comes to accept government overreach, and that's what you're seeing with President Obama."

He said, "I'm not saying President Obama is the Anti-Christ. In fact, I'm sure he's not, because the Anti-Christ is going to have higher poll numbers."

He argued that in addition to Obamacare creating a culture of dependency, Obama is sowing the seeds for the Anti-Christ with the contraception mandate and "abortion-inducing drugs," as well as the "redefinition of marriage.""* Ana Kasparian, Dave Rubin (Rubin Report) and Desi Doyen (Green News Report) break it down.

You'd think, if the nut jobs have to have the Anti-Christ and the "mark of the beast" and whatever other nonsense they espouse on any given day as the precursor to J. Christ's return, why do they resist it so vehemently? Why not "embrace the madness," to hasten the Day of Reckoning and give ol' JC a needed boost in the keister to return so all the "good news" can start up again? Why, in Bob Jeffress' fevered mind, Barack Obama is doing what's required for Bob's peculiar vision of the future to become fact, so why does Bob seek to delay it?

Because he's a fookin' idiot would be my call. What's yours?

This same claim to the coming of the anti-Christ has been made over and over and over in the last 1800 years. It comes and goes with the regularity of an ocean wave any time there is a figure in government or other religious groups who doesn't meet the apostolic extreme evangelical hoopla of that particular half decade. It's caused uprisings though the middle ages and Renaissance, the 16th century, 17 century, 18th century as well as one of the biggest in the 19th and a couple more in the 20th. It's just nauseatingly repetitious historically and people just want to keep riding that apocalyptic horse to Armageddon at the whim of another deluded preacher, prophet or swindler.

Grow up already humanity.

don't show up at his church & demand that the good "Christians" take care of them instead of the government. They always say to turn to the church.

keep in mind that all of a sudden, the Chamber of Commerce organization has come to say that Americans do not have money to consume goods anymore. Does that mean that they do not have the money to give as an offering or tithe at a church, for several years now? Instead of telling the people that they are being deceived by Reaganomics, could Jeffers be spinning the sale of his books so the profits can go to the church. The Bible says that deception will be a great part of the end times. The policies of FDR resulted in huge amounts of money for Americans to give to their churches. The renovation of the Dallas church several years ago must have been costly. People may be needing to spend all of their money on living since our wages have stagnated over the past 30 years.

Jeffers allowed Ted Cruz to come in and preach at Sunday morning sermon time. Cruz told the listeners that he wanted to take down the government and the IRS.

To me Ted Cruz, not Obama, is the person that Jeffers is talking about. Ted Cruz was anointed King. King Cruz says that he is going to remove all of the money/wealth from the liberals of the world and take it to the churches. Could Jeffers be promising his flock that they will be getting the money? The Bible says that a lot of Christians will be deceived in the end times. I wonder if Jeffers is in to the rewriting of the Bible? Anyone know?
